India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & Government of Karnataka. It is
affiliated to Rajiv
Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS),
Karnataka.
Diploma faculty is in the hands of well experienced professor and his talented team who are doing a commendable job in their assignment.
On successful completion of the four year course by a student, the University awards a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
The college provides excellent teaching & training facilities for students to take the examination at the end of each academic year according to regulations of the RGUHS. A Digital Library with access to e-journals and Internet browsing facility in the library give opportunity to students to stay in tune with the latest developments in the field
The prestigious Sagar Apollo Hospital, a multi speciality hospital is part of the Sagar group. Students of Dayananda Sagar College of Pharmacy are provided training here as well as covered by medical insurance, which enables them to avail treatment in case of medical emergencies. Campus interviews are regularly conducted to provide placement assistance to eligible students.
Seven faculty members are available for teaching the allied subjects viz, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Indian constitution & Kannada.
Note: In respect of candidates who have taken PCMB combination the aggregate of PCM or PCB whichever is higher shall be considered for the purpose of admission.
In
case of students belonging to SC/ST/or category-I, the minimum
percentage of marks for admission to B.Pharm Course shall be not less
than 40% in PUC or its equivalent examination (PCB or PCM or PCMB), P.C
and computer Science, PC and Electronics.Admissions are open to all Indian nationals, NRI’s and foreign students having the requisite eligibility requirements. Admission to the course are mainly decided by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
Duly completed application form should reach the college office within the specified date.
The course of study for B.Pharm I,II,III & IV year shall include the respective theory and practical subjects as per the following table.
